Like many young dreamers, I aspired to create my own game during high school. The idea of bringing a unique world to life through my own creations was incredibly exciting. However, I quickly realized that the cost of assets made it difficult to turn this vision into reality. Instead of letting that challenge stop me, I started searching for solutions and found myself diving into YouTube tutorials, where I discovered the world of 3D modeling.

What began as a small hobby, fueled by trial and error, soon grew into a true passion. I dedicated myself to learning the intricacies of 3D creation, and as my skills developed, my hobby evolved into a full-time career. This journey has not only shaped my expertise in 3D modeling but also instilled a love for problem-solving and creative innovation.

Since 2016, I’ve had the opportunity to hone my skills across various platforms—optimizing models for mobile and web, developing product visualizations, and crafting interactive 3D experiences. I thrive on the challenge of pushing creative boundaries, whether that’s through refining modeling techniques, streamlining workflows, or utilizing automation. My approach is always centered on finding innovative solutions, and I’m eager to take on projects that challenge me to think outside the box.

In 2020, I transitioned to a full-time role at SpiffCommerce, a platform focused on providing e-commerce businesses with personalized 3D experiences and automated fulfillment systems. At SpiffCommerce, I’ve been fortunate to apply my skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with talented teams to deliver impactful, cutting-edge solutions for clients.

Seperatley to my work at SpiffCommerce, I’ve been building out my freelancing side-hustle BlackBladeDesign, my own 3D freelancing business.

Through my work at SpiffCommerce I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with top-tier brands like Coke, BIGW, Sanitarium and Bundaberg, creating a wide range of 3D models tailored to meet the specific needs of e-commerce and product visualization. 

The journey has come with its challenges—navigating the freelancing world, keeping up with the fast pace of the E-Commerce world, and building a client base—but I take pride in delivering high-quality work that adds value to my clients’ projects.

Collaboration is key to great work, and I’ve been fortunate to work with amazing teams and talented individuals across various projects. Whether overseeing a project from start to finish or collaborating with outsourced studios, my focus is always on delivering exceptional results within tight deadlines.

When I’m not working on 3D models, you’ll likely find me exploring new technologies or indulging my passion for anything mechanical. I’m constantly looking for ways to grow and evolve, both as a 3D artist and as an individual.
